What About Cookies?

Cookies are unique identifiers that our website may send to your computer to enable our systems to recognize your device and to provide features such as storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits. They also authenticate your browser before sending sensitive information during financial transactions. We need to know whether the user is logged in or not, and which account they are logged in with. Without such a mechanism, the site would not know whether to send a page containing sensitive information, or require the user to authenticate themselves by logging in. This is important for any financial transactions and when accessing the online courses that are password-protected for single licence users. We may use cookies or session variables on this website to maintain the integrity of the registration process. We may also use a session cookie that expires shortly after your registration process is completed, but could remain on your hard drive via your Internet browser.

The “Help” feature on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on’s settings or visiting the Website of its manufacturer. We recommend that you leave them turned on. For instance, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, you will not be able to add items to your Shopping Cart, proceed to Checkout, or participate in the online courses that require you to Sign in.
